The Permanent Representative

The Permanent Representation of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the European Union (NL PermRep) promotes the Dutch interests in the European Union (EU). Our team consists of people from practically all ministries and other branches of the Dutch government, united in one building and one organisation in Brussels.

It is our daily job to negotiate and lobby on behalf of the Netherlands in the EU. This implies that each one of us, each in his/her own specific field of expertise, is in daily contact with the representatives of other EU Member States, as well as the European Commission and the European Parliament.

This site has been designed to accommodate all those who, for professional or other reasons, want to get in touch with us, as an extension of the Dutch government in Brussels. Do not hesitate to contact us, because a more transparent Europe is in the interest both of the Netherlands, as well as that of the EU!
